To have a hot meal, to have the choice of an appetiser, a main course and a dessert when one has no income; today, this is possible in Metz, not far from the train station, Clovis Street, in the social restaurant of the Foundation, open Monday to Friday, 12:30 to 2:30 pm.
For a modest sum, the self-service restaurant offers the choice between 3 different appetisers, 2 main courses, several types of cheese and 3 desserts during each rotation. The meals are prepared by an external contractor in coordination with a help-through-work service establishment (ESAT).
YOUNG ADULTS (LESS THAN 25 YEARS OLD), COUPLES, ISOLATED WOMEN, WANDERERS
Young adults (less than 25 years old), couples, isolated women, or wanderers and their pets… these are the target groups of this new structure, which comes as an answer to ever increasing local needs. 48 seated places are available on daily basis and should be rapidly filled. The social restaurant of the Foundation is unique in the region in receiving and hosting these different groups in great distress.
