The play “Parabole des Papillons”
Showcased during the “In” festival in Avignon, the play “Parabole des Papillons”, directed by Michèle Addala, was born from “workshops of words” carried out in difficult neighbourhoods in Avignon.

These workshops, where what is unsaid in public is revealed, allow the residents to express themselves. These residents are too often deprived of places to open up or marginalised in enclosed neighbourhoods (mainly Monclar and Champ Fleuri).
The Foundation made this commitment 2 years ago with “Mise en Scène” in Avignon; the Foundation financially supports this troupe and accompanies its artistic and social approach.
An initiative that brings a new kind of theatre, not “for”, not “about”, but “with” the residents of impoverished neighbourhoods.
A collective experience which brings together men, women and children in creations aiming to offer individuals a space where they can express themselves and reach fulfilment.
An approach that also aims to open the festival to all the residents of Avignon, allowing them to actively take part in the event.
