The Abbé Pierre stays in touch with Annie…

Annie’s family was received by the Abbé Pierre in 1951, in Neuilly-Plaisance. Annie wasn’t even born yet.

Towards the end of his life, in 2007, he was still in close contact with this family. He was supposed to take Annie’s grand-daughters with him on vacation to Switzerland. But he passed away on January 22.

Annie’s daughter and grand-daughters went alone to Switzerland for the holidays offered by the Abbé. One of the first families the Abbé Pierre helped was also the last.
